Memorial Day Activities

Commander Bob Oppelt and 1st Vice Commander Tom Madru emceed the Memorial Day activities conducted on Monday, May 27 at Veteran’s Park in Park Ridge. 

Approximately 150-200 residents attended along with the Park Ridge Fire and Police Departments, local clergy and numerous organizations that presented wreaths in honor of those Park Ridge residents who died in service to their Country.

Post Scholarship Awards

On Wednesday, June 12th, the Post  awarded Scholarships to the following three outstanding  students:

Joseph Klingler, Pascack Hills High School

Mr. Klinger is the grandson of members Jim and Pat Donovan and will attend Penn Tech.

Hadyn Hopper, Pascack Hills High School

Ms. Hopper is the daughter of member Bruce Hopper and granddaughter of Leigh Hopper and will attend the 

University of Maryland.

Sean Stewart, Pascack Valley High School

Mr. Stewart is the son of member John Stewart and will attend 

Michigan State University.
